Humans
Humans (variously Homo sapiens and Homo sapiens sapiens) are primates of the family Hominidae, and the only extant Template:Wiki of the genus Homo. Humans are Template:Wiki from other primates by their bipedal locomotion, and especially by their relatively larger Template:Wiki with its particularly well developed Template:Wiki, prefrontal cortex and Template:Wiki lobes, which enable high levels of abstract Template:Wiki, language, Template:Wiki, and Template:Wiki through Template:Wiki Template:Wiki. Humans use tools to a much higher degree than any other Template:Wiki, and are the only extant Template:Wiki known to build fires and cook their food, as well as the only known Template:Wiki to clothe themselves and create and use numerous other technologies and arts. The scientific study of humans is the discipline of Template:Wiki.
Human's are uniquely Template:Wiki at utilizing systems of symbolic Template:Wiki such as language and art for self-expression, the exchange of ideas, and organization. Humans create complex Template:Wiki structures composed of many cooperating and competing groups, from families and kinship networks to states. Template:Wiki interactions between human's have established an extremely wide variety of values, Template:Wiki norms, and rituals, which together form the basis of human Template:Wiki. The human desire to understand and influence their Template:Wiki, and to explain and Template:Wiki phenomena has been the foundation for the development of Template:Wiki, philosophy, Template:Wiki, and religion.
